  20. Are you trying to format a disk that was previously Mac or Amiga
  21. formatted?

  23. If so, you'll need to prep the disk before you can format it (you have
  24. to put the messy-dos equivalent of a RDB on it).

  26. This can be done on a real peecee (with the FDISK program) or with
  27. PC-TASK.
